During our counselling session, I will use talk therapy as well as an integration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).  This is a more holistic approach to therapy which can often produce faster results more so than talk therapy alone.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive behavioral therapy is a common type of mental health counselling (talk therapy) whereby you work with a counsellor who helps you become more aware of inaccurate or negative thinking, this allows you to view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.

Emotional Freedom Technique

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a simple method where a person lightly taps on select traditional Chinese acupressure points while simultaneously verbalizing their issue or event that is causing them to experience negative emotions such as stress, anxiety, fear or sadness. EFT releases old negative thought patterns and limiting beliefs. This combination clears any blockages in a person’s energy system, allowing the mind and body to heal itself naturally.

EFT has been proven effective in improving many conditions often when other methods have been unsuccessful. Many health professionals have incorporated EFT in conjunction with their more traditional practices to help their patients’ conditions improve more rapidly.


For your convenience, counselling sessions can be conducted in person, over the phone or via Zoom.


$105.00 per 1 hour counselling session.

Some individual medical or extended health plans cover counselling services provided by a registered professional counsellor (RPC). Please consult with your health plan provider or administrator for more information.
